       Annual Dinner on the 6th May 2011 was a very special Dinner as it was 70th Birthday of the Club hence Friendship- link SI Clubs paid us a visit to congratulate and wish us well. This was made even more special for Our long serving Active member Kate Fussell who is also a 'Freeman' of Wigan and carries the very important 'Key'-as she had completed 40years of sevice to the Soroptimist movement for which she was awarded a certificate by the Federation, a present & flowers by the club. Kate has Made Club members feel very proud. Carole Our President has been the very capable and efficient President to be at the helm of the Club for this special year.

Friendship link clubs such as Stratford-upon- Avon, Castlebar and Swiss Soroptimists attended the Annual Dinner.
